At edha, registered with the name Idalia Mental Health LLP, we are committed to respecting the privacy and confidentiality of the information that you entrust us with. Our Privacy Policy outlines the policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information from users. Please review this Privacy Policy carefully. In order to guarantee privacy to the Client, we maintain the Client’s anonymity and work in accordance with confidentiality policies to ensure that all personal and health information received is maintained and transmitted through a highly secure environment. It is recommended that you do not use the website, mobile application(s) or the related Services if any of the terms of this Privacy Policy are not in accordance with the applicable laws of India or from your country or you do not feel comfortable with.

Definitions

  1. Company : edha or written as Edha, “edha.in”, “Company”, “Organization”, “Firm”, “we”, “our”, “us”, “Service Provider” or similar terminology are all in reference to edha (Company registered as Idalia Mental Health LLP) as a provider of Services for the remainder of this document
  2. “Web-site”, “Website” means and refers to the content on domain www.edha.life available through internet, which exists as service provider. It can also be referred to as “portal” or “Platform” in Terms and Conditions; but it all means the same, which is website.
  3. User : “Client”, “user”, “you”, “your” or other similar terminologies are all in reference to you, as the user of the website/web-application, mobile application(s) and as a recipient of our Services and resources for the remainder of this document.
  4. “Expert”, “Practitioner”, “Psychologist”, “Psychiatrist”, “Therapist”, “Coach”, “Instructor”, “Professional”, “Facilitator”, “Professional”, they all mean, those individuals who are registered with us on the platform basis their education, experience, expertise and intent to provide their kind of service through this website. These words can be interchangeably used in this document and at all places, but they all means the same, the service provider.
  5. “Service” means the offerings through one on one talk, in those areas of expertise of experts and professionals available on the platform basis their expertise. These service areas may change basis the dynamic need of individual and masses.
  6. “Counselling” refers to the process in which an expert from the respective field uses a broad range of most appropriate practices and/or interventions to help improve mental and emotional well-being of their Client, may be prevent future distress and maladjustment, crisis in life or any other pertinent concern area, for which he has been trained and has appropriate knowledge and competencies to deal effectively.  These professionals or experts can be called/referred to as Counsellors, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Therapists on this platform/website. These professionals would in general be referred to as “Counsellor” as well.   
  7. “Coaching” refers to the process adopted by a Coach, who is a trained and certified expert to improve performance of their Client or an individual. This process is not about teaching an individual, rather, the approach is to facilitate an individual unlock their own potential to maximise their own performance and meet up their personal or individual Goals.  Those professionals who provide coaching are called, Coach.  A Coach may have his specific field such as relationship coach, performance Coach or can be a Life Coach, to facilitate general well-being and improvement in life conditions.

Nature of Service

edha is a platform to facilitate and deliver mental and emotional support services to individuals, couples, groups and organisations. Services also includes, Coaching individuals and groups to be able to meet their personal and professional goals.  Services and support includes, but are not restricted to, all of the below. edha services and offerings may include/are and may keep on adding or modifying services basis requirement from time to time.

Below are a few service offerings of edha :

  • Online Counselling, Coaching other Self-improvement services through experienced & competent Counsellors, Psychologists, Therapists, Psychiatrist, Coaches and other Instructors. These Experts/Practitioner/s, Coaches are those, who have volunteered to use our platform to provide their services and edha has authorised them to use this platform to render their services.
  • Articles, Videos, content, Information, any self-help guide or notes through this platform or through professionals are reference/s for you which you may opt to use, but is not necessary.
  • Employee Engagement Programs is all about briefing and providing psychological counselling and support and maybe Coaching too, at group level, Organizational levels.
  • This platform also enables Coaches to facilitate and support Individuals or groups to meet up with their individual, personal and professional goals.
  • From time to time, Feels would also conduct workshops, webinars regarding relevant subjects from psychology, coaching, spirituality, relaxation techniques and others by engaging experts from their respective field.
  • edha may involve their professionals to create video content of the subject and topic of their choice. The opinions and content and its delivery would be solely of these professionals and Coaches only and edha would not have any role in that, except in creation and uploading of videos.  edha would just have their Videos on our platform, but does not own it and takes any sort of responsibility that the video content; way of communication on the subject, correctness of information, solely belongs to the speaker of the video and edha does not take ownership of it all, whatsoever.

The Services offered by edha are in compliance with our client anonymity and confidentiality policies (refer to Privacy Policy).  edha reserves the right to add or remove Services from its overall offerings, without any prior notification.

The aforementioned shall hereinafter be referred to as “Services”.

Consent/Agreement

By using the platform (www.edha.life), you providing us with your personal information and making a payment to edha, you hereby provide your consent to the collection, storage, processing, disclosure and transfer of your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy and under the data privacy laws in India.

 

You acknowledge that you are providing your personal information out of your free will, either directly to edha (Company registered as Idalia Mental Health LLP) or through a third-party or your organization. You have the option to not provide us the personal information sought to be collected. You will also have an option to withdraw your consent at any point, provided such withdrawal of consent is intimated to us, in writing to us at ask@edha.life  

Notwithstanding this, if you are accessing our platform through a third-party or your organisation, you will have an option to withdraw your consent at any point, provided you explicitly inform the third party or your organisation about such withdrawal of consent in writing, who would then inform us to take the appropriate action.

If you do not provide us with your Personal Information or if you withdraw the consent at any point in time, we shall have the option to not fulfil your purpose/s or the service for which the said Personal Information was sought and we may restrict your use of the platform.  Providing incorrect information is also not acceptable and we may not fulfil your service requirement/s.

Personal Information

To enable you to engage with our Service/s, we will use personal information about you - provided directly to us or to a third party or your organization - to contact or identify you, such as your name, phone number, gender, occupation, place of residence, your email address, type of service, language in which you require service, maybe medical history and any other information that the respective Practitioner/Expert or Coach might require from you.

We also collect information you provide from responses, through our questions prior to booking of service/s on our website (www.edha.life), assessments if any or the feedback you share with us or the testimonials post your respective sessions.  If you communicate with us by email or phone, any information provided in such communication may be collected as personal information (“Personal Information”).

The main reason we collect this Personal Information is to provide you a smooth, efficient and customised experience for the service/s through our experts. The collection of Personal Information also enables the user to create an account and profile that can be used to interact with our professionals for future session/s. This also helps so that you need not have to key in your personal details for each session.  You may change some of the information that you provide through your account page at the website.

edha may use your Personal Information so that we may:

Recognize and address you with your name

Not require your personal information every time you visit website for next session/service

Maybe understand needs, requirements and/or concern areas

Facilitate with your bookings, as reminder of upcoming session

Facilitate easier billing, cancellation and/or refund if any

Assist and resolve any issues with regards to your session/s or otherwise

May be to communicate disclosures, as appropriate

May be to improve our website and facilitate further ease of accessing our service/s

Share, updates about new service/s, any promotions or information

Your information is used by our Experts/Practitioners and Coaches and the data thus captured gives us an understanding of what service/s are desired by our Clients, what age group and multiple other factors to serve you better and channelize our efforts for better interventions.  

We at edha are dedicated to maintaining the privacy and integrity of your Personal Information. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive certain communication from us, you can inform us by writing to us at ask@edha.life

Personal Information – How to update

In case of any change in your Personal Information or if you need to update or correct your Personal Information you may do so by self through your account, any time per your convenience.  Alternatively, you may drop in a mail with your corrections/updates or request to ask@edha.life and we shall do the needful in a stipulated time period.  Further, in case you have feedback, grievance with regards to processing or use of your Personal Information, due any reason, then please feel free to write to us at ask@edha.life and we shall look into it and revert to you in a stipulated time frame.  

However, in case you have provided your Personal Information to a third-party platform from which you use our services, then edha may not be able to make any change/s or updates to the same and you will have to contact third-party operator to do the needful with your personal information.

As stated above, you can very conveniently update your personal information on our website through your account which can be easily accessed by using your login id and password.  

Please note that we are required to retain certain information in keeping with professional standards or by law for record maintaining purposes (including but not limited to payment history, feedback, client information, etc.), so we will continue to store this information for a pre-specified period of time as per applicable laws, even if you delete your account. There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which, irrespective of any efforts by us to delete information, will not be removed from them.

Cookies

We may use “cookies” to collect information for a seamless experience on our website. A cookie is a small data file that resides on system’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes.

Purpose behind use of cookies.  This helps to save user credentials for future logins for services and to facilitate pertinent features of the service/s, to get us an understanding of how our user interact with the service/s and understand the online pattern.  Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted from your computer when you log off from the services and then close your browser.

We may work with third parties that place or read cookies on your browser to improve your user experience. In such cases, by using the third party service/s through our website, you consent to their Privacy Policy and their Terms of use and agree not to hold edha liable for any issues arising from such use.

However, if you wish, you may change your browser options to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all features or functionalities of the website.

Data Log

For a returning User/Client, when you visit the website/portal, our servers automatically records information in/as Log data.  This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s IP address (Internet Protocol), device name, browser type, operating system version, the webpage you were visiting before you came to our service/s, page/s of our website and service/s that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on our services, access times and dates and other statistics. We use this information to analyse trends, administer the site, track your location, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use, increase user-friendliness and tailor our services to better suit your needs.

Confidentiality

edha maintains the confidentiality of information disclosed during personal one on one session/s with your Expert. Our Practitioners/Experts and Coaches will take all reasonable precautions to protect confidential information obtained through or stored in any medium with them.  What transpires between a user/Client and their Expert is not known to edha.  Therefore, edha as an Organization and service provider will never have any information about the communication and information sharing between Clients and Experts.  To share, as a policy, we do not record any video or audio call of your session with your experts.

However, edha as a service provider conducts meetings with their experts to understand what our users/Clients want, how can we offer better service/s and how can we improvise for better user experience. During those meetings certain inputs may come up as an input to us as an Organization but no personal information is ever shared nor would be shared, whatsoever.

If there is a threat to the well-being of the client themselves or to someone else (cases involving harm to self or harm to others), our Practitioners/Experts will be obligated to share information with the clinical supervisor and others, including emergency contacts, and other people deemed fine and essential to maintain safety, including but not limited to family, friends and law enforcement authorities, or to comply with legal requirements.

If the Practitioner receives knowledge of any criminal activity, including present or past abuse of minors, senior citizens or disabled persons, they will be obligated to share information with law enforcement authorities and to comply with all legal requirements. In the event that you are required to seek a consultation from another mental health or medical professional, clinically significant information can be shared with the relevant professional with your consent. In the process of supervision, other Practitioner may have access to information and notes as needed for clinical excellence and safety. All reasonable attempts will be made to inform you before any information is shared with a third party outside edha.

Your Confidential Information shall not be disclosed or shared by edha, its employees, its agents, or any third-party contractors, including the counsellors or Coaches; either orally or in writing; except only in the above circumstances.

Except for the reasons outlined above, the Personal Information shared with edha will only be shared with others after permission has been granted by you orally or in writing.

The User agrees to indemnify edha, Company registered as Idalia Mental Health LLP for any breach in confidentiality of the User’s Personal Information. If the User accesses edha through a third-party platform the User indemnifies edha against any data breaches that occur due to any acts of commission or omission from the third-party platform.

Third Party Disclosure

edha, company registered as Idalia Mental Health LLP does not sell or trade your Personal Information to third parties, irrespective.  Only in the event deemed fine and mutually agreed to share any personal information of yours for your well-being, then that would be shared.  However, this does not apply to any storage or transfer to and from server/website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our portal, conducting our business, or servicing you. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, mobile application policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, visitor information that is not personally identifiable may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURES AND WIDGETS

Our website/portal based services may include social media features, such as Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and maybe any widgets like “Share This” button, or interactive programs that run on our website services.  These features may collect your IP address, photograph, which page you are visiting on our portal and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our online services. Your interactions with these features and widgets are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

Security

At edha, we employ technical, administrative and physical measures designed to safeguard and protect information under our control from unauthorised access, use, and disclosure. When we collect, maintain, access, use or disclose your Personal Information, we will do so using systems and processes in compliance with the industry standards in information privacy and security.  To share, as a policy, we do not record any video or audio call of your session with your experts.  In keeping with professional standards, our Practitioners and Coaches might be required to maintain records of both online and offline sessions (if exists).

In spite of the security measures undertaken by us, we strongly discourage you from posting your Personal Information in forums, comments or any other publicly accessible places on/through our portal. edha shall not be held responsible for use or misuse of any information pertaining to or shared by the user with relation to its services. The user will not hold edha, Company registered as Idalia Mental Health LLP, liable for any issue/s related to data storage and/or security.

It is your responsibility to ensure the privacy and security of your email account, data and phone messages so that they cannot be accessed by third-party. edha will use one or both of these channels to communicate with you regarding a range of information related to your psychological wellness. edha shall not be liable for any breach in confidentiality, should your email or text messages be accessed by a third-party, with or without your consent.

The website/portal may contain links to other third party sites. The third party sites are not necessarily under control of edha. Please note that edha is not responsible for the privacy practices of such third party sites. edha encourages you to be aware when you leave the platform and to read the privacy policies of each and every third party site that collects Personal Information. If you decide to access any of the third-party sites linked to the platform, you do this entirely at your own risk. Any links to any partner websites is the responsibility of the linking party and edha shall not be responsible for notification of any change in name or location of any information on the websites. edha is not responsible for the use of any Personal Information that you voluntarily disclose through a forum or through the platform.

Age criteria – people below 18 years of age

Services of edha through its portal/website are not directed to persons under the age of 18 years. We do not knowingly solicit anyone under the age of 18 to participate independently in any of our Services.

Account Information – Information update and/or account closure

 

You as a user is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you submit to us, such as your name, mobile number, email address at the time of registration or booking for a session and/or under your account profile page.  In case you wish to update your personal information than you may conveniently do so through your account page.  Just in case you are unable to do so due any reasons, then you may get in touch with us and our Team shall get the same fixed for you.  

  1. To make changes in your personal information, you may modify the same through your account. We always urge you to mention correct and accurate information about you.
  2. Just in case you are unable to modify/edit information by self, then you may drop in a mail to us at ask@edha.life and we shall do it on your behalf.  However, incase the Team finds any abnormality, inaccuracy or insufficiency with your data, we may in our sole discretion, terminate your account/access to the service/s by providing you a written notice on the issue we experienced on you registered email id.
  3. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us through the contact details on the website. Even after your account is terminated, we may retain your usage information as needed to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, conclude any activities related to cancellation of an account, investigate or prevent fraud and other inappropriate activity, to enforce our agreements, and for other business reason. After a period of time, your data may be anonymised and aggregated, and then may be held by us as long as necessary for us to provide our services effectively, but our use of the anonymised data will be solely for analytic purposes only.
  4. The right to delete personal data : You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive your request through email at ask@edha.life and confirm your request, we will go ahead & delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from records, unless an exception applies.

edha may amend or change its Privacy Policy from time to time to incorporate necessary future changes without any prior notice to its existing or new users.  Therefore, whether you are an existing user of our services or a new user, it is recommended that you read our Terms and Condition, Privacy Policy and all other relevant information even before you seek our services through the portal.

Change in policy

edha reserves the right to change or remove any part of the Privacy Policy without notice or liability to any third party or anyone. In the event there are significant changes in the way we treat your Personal Information or in the Privacy Policy, we may take reasonable effort, but are in no way obligated, to display a notice on the website or send you an email, so that you may review the changed terms prior to continuing to use the platform.

Just in case, you are not comfortable with any of the change/s to our Terms under the policy, and you no longer wish to use this website, you can contact edha to discontinue using our platform and deactivate your account if you are registered with us directly. If you are signed up on our platform using a third-party platform or are accessing our services through your employer, then in order to deactivate your account or no longer use our services, you will have to contact the third party platform or your employer.

Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that edha has about you and your account.
